Students as active participants in learning
When I tutor mathematics, there are 3 abilities I intend to develop in my scholars. I intend to impart measurable intuition, skills, and considerations for handling challenges. These fundamentals guide me to create a training style where trainees should be active parties in learning.
I really want my students to become able to reveal their positions quantitatively and be able to verify if those mindsets align with the real life. I need my trainees to be experimenters. When we work examples, I have children propose solutions for some combination difficulties. It is a chance to highlight that analysis is mandatory and people often can not know beforehand how a issue may turn out. I wish for my students to don't hesitate to try things and discover.
